After 30 hours of theoretical teaching on the basics of set and costume design and the role of these creative activities in the creation of a complete audiovisual work, the course "Stage and Costumes Step by Step" continues the process of creative education of students, training them to make competent decisions in the design and execution of a film before its shooting. The course explores the scenographic design of space and the costume design of characters as a synergistic set of the visual code of a feature film. This research takes place in the field of artistic practice and, as a result, brings students direct experience in the visual design of a film on the template of their own student short feature film - the student's graduation thesis.
