Course objectives
The aim of the teaching process is to introduce students to the basics of visual perception, semiotics, aesthetics and critical design practices as disciplines that provide insight into the reflection of the quality of art and design. Students will gain insight into the importance of abstract and creative thinking and learn how to connect different visual content and messages into a whole. By gaining insight into the practices of critical design and an insight into the holistic approach to the design, technology, art and popular culture markets today, students will be able to more easily focus on areas and interests that match their own talents and desires in the labor market. Through the research of the aforementioned material, the focus is on creating personal curricula and designing and designing the characteristics of their own identity and personal affinities, as well as on researching, mapping and creating a plan focused on the future in order to be able to develop and position themselves in the labor market. The final work will be possible to create in physical, graphic, fine art, photographic, audio or film media.
