Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic terms and units of measurement and methods of calculation used in computer science, and then to the use of general so-called application programs as a tool for more efficient performance in business applications. Lessons and exercises deal with the use of the most marketable programs in their field, namely MS Word, MS PowerPoint and GIMP (an open source photo processing tool).
