Course objectives
Enable the understanding of the concept, significance and role of accounting as an information function, and also of the bookkeeping process as the basis of financial accounting. To acquaint students with the basic concepts, methods, procedures and techniques of accounting in the recording of business events and the creation and analysis of financial statements. Train students to interpret accounting information and use it in making business decisions.
