Course objectives
To bring closer the understanding of the complexity of the concept, the significance and the role of competitiveness in business. To cover all the important components that influence competitiveness and its improvement in a highly competitive domestic and global entrepreneurial environment. At the same time, the course emphasizes the need, in addition to focusing on achieving profit as the ultimate result of competitiveness, to take into account sustainable development and the balance of meeting the needs of the company, employees and the wider community, which is the primary task of management and a characteristic of good management as a whole.
The goal is, among other things, to train students to identify business opportunities and set up business models that, with the use of adequate management tools and the selected form of management, will permanently create the prerequisites for competitive business.
