Course objectives
The aim of this course is to acquire basic knowledge about the technologies for obtaining structural technical materials. Students acquire basic knowledge about the characteristics of technical materials and their practical application. Students distinguish between individual sub-types of technical materials and their areas of application. Students also acquire knowledge about construction technologies and the optimal choice of each. When choosing a construction technology, students will take into account environmental protection as well as positive regulations on the application of individual materials and technologies. When applying individual technologies, students take into account occupational safety and environmental protection measures.
