Course objectives
Give an overview of the state of energy resources in the world and in the Republic of Croatia, with special reference to their conventional (currently available) ways and technologies of use. After learning about conventional sources and their negative impact on the environment, the goal is to introduce students to the economic aspects of energy (Energy management), to the rational use of energy from an economic and ecological perspective, and to sustainable development from the point of view of energy (sustainable energy development). Acquaintance with the energy situation in the world, Europe and Croatia; enabling rational thinking and making decisions related to energy policy and planning.
