Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the overall scope of work of a screenwriter within a TV series project by introducing them to all segments and elements of that process and acquiring specific professional knowledge for writing scripts in the specific conditions required by working in a team. Introduction to the basics of organizing dramatic material, concepts and the mutual relationship between dramatic stories, situations and characters that develop in team work. Introduction to the stages of creating a script and its elements, from the idea, choosing a theme and story, research, plot, logline, synopsis, characterization and motivation of characters, treatment, scene sequence, episode scripts individually and in a team. . Introduction to the concept of script economics. Introduction to the concept of media responsibility and ethics within screenwriting work. Introduction to the category of "unifying" episodes during team work on a TV series.
The course is a continuation of the TV Series Script 1 course and assumes continued work on the same content.
