Course objectives
Provide basic knowledge, vocabulary and structures necessary for understanding professional terms and situations encountered by managers in the hotel, restaurant and tourism industry using English. Enable students to communicate with foreign guests and business partners when ordering food and beverages and in making simple reservations, complaints, and taking and delivering messages for the needs of tourists. Develop learning strategies and introduce students to modern language learning aids and ways of following more complex professional literature.
