Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop a personal interest in entrepreneurship in tourism based on the knowledge and skills of correctly assessing entrepreneurial opportunities and understanding the entire entrepreneurial process.
During the course, students learn about the importance of the entrepreneurial environment for the development of entrepreneurship and draw conclusions about the opportunities and threats that have influenced or may yet influence entrepreneurship in tourism. Students learn about the roles of various stakeholders who contribute to the development of a positive entrepreneurial environment and are trained to influence it themselves, within the scope of the work they will be doing.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to create and present a business model outline, thereby gaining the ability to analyze basic entrepreneurial processes and apply the acquired knowledge when creating their own business ventures. Students will be able to choose a specific form of entrepreneurship within which they could develop their entrepreneurial initiative in tourism and apply the support associated with it.
