Course objectives
Provide basic knowledge, vocabulary and structures necessary for understanding the most important professional terms and the most common situations encountered by tourism workers in the hotel and restaurant industry, and in tourist destinations using the German language. Enable students to communicate in basic terms with foreign guests and business partners when ordering food and beverages, reserving accommodation services and presenting the contents of a tourist destination. Develop learning strategies and introduce students to ways of following more simply designed professional literature in the German language.
