Course objectives
Acquiring knowledge about (co)production of feature and documentary films. Explain in detail and extensively the financial elements related to feature and documentary films and co-production of feature and documentary films, thoroughly process and analyze the process phases in the production of both types of films, along with budgets and co-production shares. Apply an interdisciplinary and thorough approach to (co)production of feature and/or documentary films. Through practice, students will thoroughly learn about the production of feature and documentary films, which includes preparation, shooting and post-production of short, medium-length and feature-length documentary and feature films. They will also gain deeper knowledge about the (co)production of feature and documentary films, from the producer's point of view, and will become familiar in detail with the role and tasks of the producer in financing and producing feature and documentary films, and with the entire process of creating a feature and documentary film, which includes all functions in an independent project.
