Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide insight into the editing of images and sound in documentary films. Through practical work on a documentary film, students explore the possibilities of editing
organizing recorded material, as well as the significance and role of the post-production element of film editing in the process of creating an audiovisual work. They will learn about different approaches to recorded material, different structures and functions, and performance possibilities.
Through mentored work, creative analysis is encouraged that the recorded material offers within the given framework.
