Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide a more detailed and deeper insight into the director's film practice, focusing on the process of preparing a short documentary film project. With this course, students will deepen their basic knowledge of documentary film direction and get the opportunity to develop their audio-visual abilities in a creative way.
Students will get an insight into all stages of the preparation of a documentary film project.
This course will provide them with an insight into the basics of film narration, the basic use of filmic means of expression, strengthening the ability to observe situations and content from everyday life that are potential motives for a documentary film. Through work on the preparation of a documentary film, students will learn the skill of a documentary director's approach.
