Course objectives
The goal of the course is to introduce students to the basic concepts and business practices related to data analytics. Data analytics is a set of technologies, methods, and processes that help people derive insights/knowledge from data that will help them take business actions that contribute to a company's business value and competitive advantage. In this course, students will gain an understanding of key technologies, methods, and processes as well as an overview of all stages in analytics: operational analytics, advanced analytics, and predictive/prescriptive analytics.
