Course objectives
The course aims to introduce students to best practice examples and recommendations for designing, implementing and maintaining an information security management system (ISMS) and to the principles and methods of assessing and managing risks to information assets. Furthermore, the objectives include introducing students to legal regulations and current international standards for the field of information security, and providing insight into the types and sources of threats, vulnerabilities, and organizational measures for protecting information assets.
