Course objectives
This course aims to introduce students to the basic concepts and theories of diplomacy, as well as to key practices of diplomatic communication. Through lectures and interactive seminars, students will analyze various forms of diplomatic communication in the context of bilateral and multilateral diplomacy, negotiations, and public diplomacy. The impact of media and new technologies on diplomacy in the contemporary world will also be addressed.
