Course objectives
Students will be introduced to the theory and practice, historical development, definitions and methods of use (tactics/methods) of propaganda, persuasion, spin, or manipulation in communications. They will learn to recognize manipulation, or manipulative tactics in mass and new media, and understand what they serve in politics, cultural, and social life.
