Course objectives
The course introduces students to the issues of information system security, threats and vulnerabilities in information systems, and ways to reduce risk, i.e. achieve system protection and resilience. In its units, the course builds on the knowledge learned with the aim of understanding security threats and risks with the aim of managing the security system and achieving the desired level of security. The selected teaching units and course content focus on the breadth of practical knowledge needed to develop secure IoT systems from the IoT device level to server systems, operating systems, applications, services and network devices.
