Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basics of combinatorics, probability and statistics. The acquired knowledge will enable students to master the basic concepts of discrete probability theory, become familiar with the principles of building simple stochastic models, apply computers in statistical data processing, and facilitate critical interpretation of the obtained statistical values.
