The aim of the course is to convey to students the basic methodological principles of writing professional and scientific papers. In addition to the theoretical part, the aim is to fully train students through continuous practical exercises to independently create professional and scientific papers, with an emphasis on writing essays, seminar and final papers, forms that they will encounter during their undergraduate studies. Students will learn what elements professional and scientific papers include, how to approach the research process before writing the paper, how to draft a paper, and what methodology to use for individual papers. Special emphasis is placed on selecting and collecting literature, citing references, and respecting copyright. The aim of the course is to introduce students to the scientific functional style of the Croatian language and to train them to use it in academic papers. Through practical tasks, attention will also be paid to the oral presentation of academic papers.
