Course objectives
Introduction to the basic concepts of ethics and deontology of journalism as "applied ethics" of the journalistic profession. Gaining insight into the self-regulatory standards of the journalistic profession and the fundamental values on which the credibility and integrity of the journalistic profession are based. Introduction to professional codes of journalistic conduct and adoption of criteria for judging correct journalistic work through the analysis of practical examples from the profession.
