Course objectives
To teach students how to write news and reports, what they must contain to be interesting and understandable to the audience. To show what news can be and how it is obtained. To introduce them to when a news story begins with the answer to the questions: who, what, where, when, why and how. To introduce them to reporting skills, to introduce them to how to use press releases, speeches and quotes in the media, and to hold press conferences. To introduce students to reporting, especially sectoral reporting and the way of monitoring events from day to day.
