Course objectives
The course aims to introduce students to the history of the emergence and basics of television, the most influential electronic mass medium of the 20th and first decade of the 21st century. Students should learn the laws that regulate electronic media in the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Radio and Television Act. In addition to the basics of television development and the division into public and commercial services, students should learn the basics of television performance, get to know television forms and learn the basics of writing news for television. As part of the exercises, students should learn to independently design and write a television news story.
