Course objectives
The aim of the course is to impart basic skills in writing professional and scientific papers to students. In addition to the theoretical part, the aim is to train students through continuous practical exercises to write academic papers, with an emphasis on writing essays, seminar and final papers, forms that they will encounter during their undergraduate studies. Students will learn what elements professional and scientific papers include, how to approach the research process before writing the paper, how to create a research outline, what methods to use and how to interpret research findings. Special emphasis is placed on selecting and collecting literature, citing references and respecting copyright. The aim of the course is to introduce students to the academic writing style and its use in academic papers. Through practical tasks, attention will also be paid to the oral presentation of academic papers.
