Course objectives
The task of the course is to introduce students to the basics of thermodynamics, which are indispensable in a wide range of potential future professions.
- Introduction to the basic laws of thermodynamics,
- Understanding the concepts of the size of the working medium,
- Application of theoretical knowledge to specific practical problems (heat exchangers, thermal power plants),
- Training students in mathematical modeling of simple thermodynamic systems and independent solving of numerical problems.
