Course objectives
Provide basic knowledge and skills of a foreign language and use the basic vocabulary and structures necessary for understanding the most important professional terms and the most common situations encountered by tourism workers in the hotel and restaurant industry, and in tourist destinations. Enable students to communicate in basic terms with foreign guests and business partners when presenting and/or booking accommodation services and their facilities, and when ordering food and beverages. Develop learning strategies and introduce students to ways of following more simply conceived professional literature in the Italian language.
