Course objectives
The main goal of this course is to enable students to understand the basic concepts of identity, image, reputation and charisma and their mutual relationships. As these concepts are an integral part of everyday communication, as well as professional and business communication, it is extremely important to teach students to analyze how the identity and image of an individual or organization affect their reputation and perception in the public. The goal is also to apply theoretical knowledge to real examples from business and public life in order to better understand the challenges and opportunities of identity and reputation management. Through exercises and interactive tasks, students will first apply all theoretical knowledge to their own examples and examples of good practice from public life, and work on developing their own charisma and understanding how it can be used to strengthen personal and professional identity. Another important goal will be to encourage critical thinking about the influence of media and digital communication on building identity, image and reputation.
