Course objectives
The fundamental goal of the course is to introduce students to the basic concepts of financial accounting and the use of accounting information in making business decisions. Within the course, students will adopt the basic concepts and categories of accounting, master the basics, concepts and techniques used in the analysis and recording of business events and the preparation of financial statements, be trained to understand and interpret information derived from financial statements, and build a foundation for studying related disciplines that await them in their further studies and applying the acquired knowledge to other professional areas and disciplines.
