ECTS: 5
Year/Semester: 2 . years, 4 . semester
Total hours: 60
Lecturers
Course objectives
The course complements the material of the Computer Networks course 1. Local area (LAN) networks, the basis of switch operation and VLANs, as well as routing between VLANs, are covered. Switch protocols are processed: STP protocol and Etherchannel. Dynamic address allocation for IPv4 and IPv6 protocols is shown. The course introduces students to wireless transmission, the operation of local wireless networks (WLAN) is covered. Students are introduced to the operation of routers, routing protocols (dynamic and static).
