The course should introduce students to the basics of television programming, enable them to acquire skills and knowledge about how to create television formats, creative work on designing shows, creating their content, and introduce them to production needs and processes in creating a television show. Through interactive exercises, the goal is to teach students to distinguish between types of television shows, design the format of shows, as well as their content. The course introduces the basics of professional standards for television editing and explains the tasks of creative staff on television. The lectures are modernly designed, multimedia, interactive, with many concrete examples, and on selected topics, students will gain practical knowledge during exercises and will learn essential issues related to the medium of television in accordance with new technological possibilities. Fieldwork will directly introduce students to the production of television shows.
