Course objectives
The aim of the course is aimed at understanding the basics of databases, their application, concepts and implementation. As the first of two courses on the Business Informatics course with the topic of databases, the emphasis of the course is on the basics and covers the following areas: database terminology, relational data model, database model planning, model execution in MS Access, normalization forms, queries and action queries over databases. The course also includes the technical creation of forms and reports in the MS Access program.
